Yes there is a charge I think it was 8.00 and it was ok for both. Not anything great but ok.

Thanks for the response. Is the charge for using it and renting ball/putter? I think I can go to one of the Disney minigolf places for about that much $ so it might not be worth it.

I think 8.00 is a lot per person to play minature golf. I would also go to disney instead. Is there a charge to play basketball?

There is no charge for basketball or any other sports activity. They give many free games of mini golf as prizes for any "tournament" ie. basketball shoot, table tennis, pool, shuffleboard etc. We usually have "won" more games than we can use.

We just got back yesterday from VR - I'll post a review in a bit (it was our 3rd stay). Mini golf cost $5 per person for renters, $4 per person for owners. Pick up a VR info map for a buy one, get one free coupon good for minigolf (and some craft activities). You can pick up more maps at the activity center at the Cascades. Sunday night at 8 p.m. is "extreme" mini golf. They have the holes decorated, etc. They hand out raffle tickets for hole in ones, and just for participating - and then raffle off VR merchandise. Our son also won coupons good for a round of mini golf by participating in the kid activities - such as pool games and free throw contest (which were free to participate in.) You can actually play mini golf for as long as you like - you don't "lose" the ball on the last hole like many courses.

You can sign out a basketball or shuffle board equipment for free. We also enjoyed poolside BINGO - $1 per card, or $5 for 6 cards. You can win VR logo merchandise. They have a BINGO night with 10 games for $10 for 6 cards. It's a family friendly environment - so all can participate.

You should go try the Magic Mining golf on 192. It is only 3.99 to play and they have a very good Steak and Seafood restaurtant right there.
