We just returned from a week in WDW. Some thoughts..

1. We won't do CRT again. Too expensive for average food. DD6 is past the princesses and DD2 prefers Buzz and Woody.

2. Our new fav is Sanaa!! Excellent food and prices are decent.

3. We'll skip Chef Mickey's next time too. Food is so so and it costs as much as my fav entree at Cali Grill.

4. Cali Grill is excellent! Will eat there again. The pork with polenta is to die for!

5. Wolfgang Puck's counter service is as good as a great table service meal.

6. We didn't do a table service every night like we usually do, and we liked it! We did some counter services for dinner and ate by the pool. Very relaxing!

7. We liked our dinner at Tutto Italia, but it was pricey for pasta ($24 for about $.50 worth of pasta). It was delicious, but maybe we'll do lunch next time if it's cheaper.

We also ate at: Ohana's (good, but would skip next time to try something else), Captain Cooks, the "Friar" place in MK, Sunshine Seasons, and the place in DHS near the Beauty and the Beast show. All were fine.

Anyway, just thought I'd share our food experiences!

I did not have such a good experience at Wolfgang Puck Express. The pizza was soggy and the chicken on it dry. Not how I remember it being. My friend was ticked off that the caesar salad was made with iceberg lettuce. We thought they might be cheaping out due to the dining plan.

Loved California Grill but I tend not to order any entrees there. Total agreement about Sanaa.

What did you have at Saana? Do you think the food would more "universally appealing" than the menu indicates? Thanks for the reviews!

Honestly, what I liked about Sanaa is that they had food that was not "universally appealing."

The banana-wrapped fish was a pretty mild flavor though. I put chutneys all over it.

That fish will apparently be changed within the next couple of months though.
