Just back and ate at old favorites and a few new places.
Paradisio 37 - ordered several apps and sides to share - skewers, dipping trio, wasabi fries, plaintaims, and churros fo rdessert. all were very good. Service and atmosphere great also.
Cookes - Had the batter dipped sausages - they were wonderful with the cheese dipping sauce.
BOG lunch - Pre ordered with FP. Tuna Nicoise Salad and Croque Monsieur - both great as were the Master's cupcakes.
BOG Dinner - Service was excellent!! Food was very good. Braised Beef, Steak, French Onion Soup, and Desserts.
Starring Rolls- Red Velvet and Butterfinger cupcakes, both great.
Tangerine Cafe - Lamb Wrap and Lamb platter - both were very good!
Les Halles - Sandwiches and pastries. Both excellent as always.
Via Napoli - Had the Arrachini, Quatro Formaggi pizza, and zeppoles. All were fantastic.
Crystal Place breakfast - Service, atmosphere, and food wonderful as always.
Tusker House breakfast - Always good, but noisy
Cantina di San Angel - Empanadas and Tacos carne both were very good.
Brown Derby lunch - lobster bisque, cobb salds, and dessert trio. food wonderful as always, service was slow!
Pecos Bill - Always a reliable standby. Burgers were hot and fresh as were fries.
Friar's Nook - Blue cheese Mac and Cheese with Balsaminc. Good, not great.
Sleepy Hollow- Waffles with fruit topping - waited forever and was given one hot, fresh waffle and one cold, hard one that had bene sitting there from before I walked up to window - can see in and watch. They seem to pump out the funnel cakes and treat waffles as an after thought in the evenings.
