The first time I saw these, I picked up the Mickey & Pooh sets. They're just so stinking cute! However, I'm having trouble using them. The openings are too narrow to use even the thinnest embossing pen I have, so using them with powders is out (heat embossing?).
I'm not happy with the way they turn out when I use the finest embossing tool either (dry embossing?). In order to get any kind of an image in most areas, I have to press down really hard...but then the paper/CS tears when I hit an area where 2 lines meet & the "track" is a little wider.
Has anyone used these successfully? Any tips? Or do I just have 2 really nice sets of charms to use on my pages?
