Mingos in the Watah! What in the Wuhld?

Welcome home, I enjoyed seeing the pictures Jill put on fb. I'm glad you were able to have such a wonderful trip with Brooklynn.

I didn't send many, but I am glad you enjoyed the ones I did send. The camera pictures aren't very good quality, so you have to really have the Disney love to appreciate them. ;)

Oh! I guess the skulls are there all the time. Shows how much I've paid attention to the sign.

We'll keep our eyes on the sign and see if it changes over the next few trips.

Hi! I had an awesome DIS meet today with Meg and Kailyn :goodvibes We had so much fun. I definitely didn't chicken out of touching the sharks, they just wouldn't come over to us :rotfl: I have photo evidence of us touching the rays though! My pictures will probably be up tomorrow. I would've put them up tonight but I had a paper I had to finish when I got home. Meg has some awesome pictures on her camera of us being silly in the gift shop

I am glad you guys had a good time together. DIS friends are awesome!

So sorry to hear Kay had a rough time! I hope, like you said, she is able to look back on the fun times.

That sandwich from Cosmic Rays look so delish - too bad we are having pork chops for dinner...but maybe I'll had a nice side of BBQ sauce! :goodvibes

Well, I guess Breanna did, because now her mom is wanting to plan a trip. We will hope she has a better outcome. :goodvibes

We had pork chops in mushroom soup yesterday - with mashed potatoes, cabbage, and apples.

Lovely trip to Adventureland.

Your Cosmic Ray's is making my tummy rumbly. I'm waiting for our landlord to come fix our heat so dinner has been pushed way back.

That sounds like a very sweet moment for Brooklynn picking up the flowers in Epcot, I love moments like that in Disney. :cloud9:

You are in the new place now, right?

After being with her for five straight days, I sure do miss my favorite little flower picking girl.

Good evening. I just wanted to see how the student teacher was today. I hope he/she is wonderful! (Hey, and a Disney lover would be awesome!!)

I think he will be okay. He's 22. His mom is a teacher. He wants to teach 5th or 6th grade. My little boys will really enjoy having him around. Not a Disney lover, but he did mention that he thought the room looked cool. ;)

They were in your picture in July and mine in late Sept/Oct. So we can keep an eye out in Dec. right?

Glad you have some help in your class. Hopefully he can learn from you and you can use the extra set of hands and eyes to lighten your load bit.

I guess I've REALLY fallen behind, because YOU'RE BACK! Welcome back, MeMom! I'll have to read the full post, but from what I read, it sounded like you had a great time. The cold weather here is awful and my second period of the day at school is OUTSIDE, so it stinks and I'm still wearing shorts shockingly. I just hate, no abhor, long pants so much! Well, I'll survive or get sick, I don't care, something good will come out of either :teeth: I hope everything's good with you and school and everything, now that you are just getting back. I haven't heard many complaints from my mom and the teachers she may be talking to, so I guess it's all better where you are too :thumbsup2 Can't wait to read more about the trip in this report and of your latest trip! :mickeyjum

Hi MeMom! This was such a good update. Capt. Jack Sparrow...the People Mover...AND Cosmic Ray's! You were having a good day! :cloud9:

I'm glad you had a good time with Brooklynn! Such a special time together. I'm sorry Kay's experience wasn't nearly as magical.

I missed the Facebook updates Jill made. We spent the time you were gone in Yosemite with little internet access. And I was too tired after all the hiking to deal with Facebook on my phone at night. :rolleyes1

Good luck on your preparations for your second evaluation!

I am going to let him start doing the transitions this week, such as leading them to lunch and activity periods. I will teach him about all the paperwork, as well. Other than that he will just obsevre the way things go and learn the kids' names and personalities. Next week, he will start teaching Math, then the next week, he'll pick up Language. After that he'll teach all subjects while I fade out. In the end, he'll start to fade back out one subject at a time as I move back in. He'll be with us until the Christmas break.

We're supposed to have a beautiful day here, so I am wearing my capris for what might be one last time before it's all long pants until spring.

More pictures coming this morning, hopefully.

More Magic Kingdom coming in a little bit. :wizard:

I think after some time goes by, Kay will be able to talk more about the good than the bad of this trip. Right now, she still seems pretty aggravated.

I bet Yosemite as awesome! We need to do an Adventures by Disney trip someday, but I hear that they are pretty expensive.

Thanks on the luck. On this one, the paperwork is less of a factor and the teaching is more of a factor, so to me, that is less stressful.

Thank you for your sharing.

You are welcome.

Next, we saw Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, at which I took very few pictures. You can't take any inside the show, anyway.

I'm watching you.
Always watching!

Then we were off to one of Brooklynn's favorites.

Looks like quite a crowd waiting for the parade.

A quick run through the Confectionery.

This CM was having fun with the kids tossing a Frisbee while waiting for the parade to start.

Goodbye for this day, Magic Kingdom.

I love the Monster's Inc Laugh Floor - I know the jokes are so corny but I think they're so funny! (Probably why I love the Muppets so much as well...)

I love to start my day off with a little Main Street, especially one of those flip flop cookies, how cute!

Yes, we are in the new place. We moved all weekend. Today is the BIG ultrasound day where we get to find out if we are having a princess: or pirate:. I am VERY excited. :dance3:

Aahh I will be seeing that beautiful Main St. on Thursday. MeMom look for some texts from me on your phone.:goodvibes

Wow you got some great photos inside Buzz. My pictures always seem to come out blurry but I just got a new Canon (idea from Poolrat) and I am hoping to get some GREAT pictures & videos.:thumbsup2

We love Monsters Inc Laugh Floor! We see it at least once each trip but have the best memories from our July 2010 trip when we saw the show with tinkgurl and her family!

OMG, the Confectionary pictures have my stomach growling, even at 9:20 in the morning! :lovestruc:cloud9:

Oh what I wouldn't do for a treat from the confectionary today! One of those big rice krispie treats would really hit the spot right now! And you know, it always makes me laugh that you take pictures while you're on Buzz! I am always far too into the game to think of photography! :)

I absolutely love the way that Disney CMs play and interact with the guests, while waiting. That's what makes Disney so special I think. Those treats sure look yummy! :goodvibes

Gosh, I had a lot of catching up to do! You guys are always so busy over here! :goodvibes

Sorry to hear that you hit some rough waters on your trip with Kay. I also hope that she eventually can remember the fun times (even though I know it is tough in the heat of the moment).

Those treats from the bakery look delish! In fact, it might motivate me to go make some brownies while DS is still napping. I think that would be a nice surprise for DH and really hit the spot, yummy! :)

Thanks for sharing those lovely MK pictures.Thats just what i want to be looking at. Instead i am looking out at a cold night and a bad storm.:sad2:I really hope your student Teacher is going to be a big help to you and makes your job a bit more bearable.:)

Oh, how I wish I was walking down Main Street right now! Since we are going to Universal and SeaWorld next trip, I'm not sure when I will be walking down the middle of Main Street, USA again. It makes me so sad.

I hope your student teacher works out great for you. Just having a male presence around usually helps.

So....I have been keeping up on Facebook but I have been SO insanely busy! Community college last year is SO much different from living on campus now! I have class 5 day's a week (18 credits) and between studying and trying to find a job and party a little bit, I have had no time to DIS :( I am very glad to be able to be back on here!!! I've missed you all!!!!

Love these morning updates! Always nice to wake up to a little bit of Rozz, a dash of Buzz and DISNEY! lol (Yes, I read this in the morning and am only replying 12 hours later, shush!) Big :thumbsup2 to the two attractions I'm sure you know I was referencing too. Great pictures of Main Street and the Confectionary! Love the CM throwing the Frisbee, always nice to see them do stuff like that.

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum
