Mine Train to Splash back to BOG

I think may have screwed up our FP. I have Mine Train reserved for 10:40, then Splash M at 11:45, and then BOG reservations at 12:20.

Can we make it from Splash Mountain to BOG? I have a feeling it's too long of a walk.

We are riding Splash with other family members and I know that my daughter will be disappointed if we can't.(It's the only thing we have planned with them that day.) My husband will probably not ride Splash M so can go to the restaurant early but I understand that we won't be seated till we are all there.

I don't think I can get another Train and BOG time so they are pretty set.

Also, there is the fact that my family will not be thrilled with walking from Mine Train to Splash M and then back again.

Maybe we'll skip Splash FP and meet up with our other family members later for something else.

Oh, this is hard. Would it be better to go from Mine Train to Buzz and save Splash M till later?

You can walk it at a "normal pace" in 10-12 minutes.

But, BoG is generally so behind in seating, I wouldn't sweat it.

If it really bothers you, you can make some changes.
(But, beware of how that might create more issues.)

This last spring, we had a 12:10 at big thunder, with a BOG for 12:45, and we had to practically "run" from one to the other, and that is a much shorter ride than Splash is, but we did make it, although I can't remember if we were actually on time or a small bit late- we certainly weren't early.

ETA: we more speed walked than ran, but it was a quick enough pace that our 8 year old did not enjoy it

No worries.

Ride Splash @ 11:45 and you'll be done at Splash by 12:10.

At worst, you arrive @ BOG no later than 12:25 - which is not late.

Since my family attempts to maximize resort swimming pool time, your current outline is exactly how I would plan my day.

Thank you all. I feel better. I'm hoping to leave the afternoon open to go to another park and then the kids are going back for the dessert party. I was thinking we'd spend less time in MK this time around but really, there's so much more to do, I don't think that's going to happen. More than 3 FP's are needed!

And, fortunately in MK, there are very frequently many day-of FP+ available for booking as 4th, 5th, even 6th FP+ in the afternoon (often evening) hours.

Not beating myself up but just trying to figure out how to make it all work. I love Fast Pass but am trying to convince myself that booking them ahead this far makes sense. Also, I have a family of non planners who think I'm crazy.

I didn't think about the fact that BOG may be running behind anyway. Like any thing else, they may say 12:20 but that doesn't mean we'll get in then.

They typically allow you to use your FP 5 minutes early (we had one CM that made us wait at KRR). While that does not sound like much, it may just be those extra few minutes you need!
