Gee..my hubby mentioned this today. He said on our upcoming "adult" trip he would like to partake in some of these with breakfast.

Do any of the good sit down restaurants serve these?

thanks!

4 parts champagne, 1 part chilled orange juice, add a splash of grenadine if you like. You can easily make them in your room for a fraction of the cost. Champagne drinks are expensive.

Spoodles, Boatwrights at POR, are 2 restuarants I know of that serve these. Think the GF cafe may serve them too. I have never had an alcoholic drink with breakfast before so I am curious as to what it is like? I f i had been drinking late a night maybe it would be a good 'hair of the dog' cure ?;)

Last fall, on our last day (sob!), we had breakfast at WCC, and one of the women in our party got the Miss Jenny's Mimosa - I only remember it being called that because her name is Jenny. She said that it was very good.

I have had one at the GF cafe.

Thanks for all the good ideas guys....!

I'm not really wanting to purchase an entire bottle of champagne...we aren't wanting to have them everyday.

I'm just happy to have my hubby all to myself for 6 whole days....I won't know how to act. We have very hectic lives here. We need a break.

I had one(OK maybe more than one) delivered with room service(dinner) at BWV. I also had one at the WS by france at the counter where they serve champagne. Susan

Oy! Never had breakfast cocktails! It is a must for Sunday brunch! Bloody Marys and mimosas are an awesome addition to any breakfast.

Concourse Steakhouse, Olivias, Kona Cafe, Yacht Club Galley, and Spoodles all have Mimosa' listed on their menus.

If you don't want to get one large bottle they sell small champagne bottles that (given the addition of OJ) are good for filling 2 flutes. They're about the size of a small beer bottle and would fit well into a small room fridge. I've seen them mostly at specialty stores like Cost Plus World Market. Although I'll now have to look for mimosas at Disney breakfasts, I personally can't think of a better place to have one than sitting out on one's balcony.

The I've only ever had a Mimosa twice. Once was at Palo brunch on DCL. I was delicious. The other time...not so much, but I think it really depends on the quality champagne used.
