Just wondering how the food and price is at Mimi's Cafe at the Howard Johnson, is that part of the hotel? it is cheap and is it good?? :Pinkbounc

I went to Mimi's cafe here in Salt lake a few weeks ago. I ordered a oriental chicken salad that was delicious. The prices would be comparable to chili's or TGI fridays. I think my lunch including tip was $11.

We had a large party and everyone loved their meals.

Mimi's is acutally located right across the street from Hojo's. The food is very good(love the french onion soup) and as the above poster stated is comparable to Friday, Chili's etc etc.

I love Mimi's! Good food, moderate prices (as others have posted), lots of choices. They have wonderful omelettes, and the turkey salad on raisin bread is delicious. Good pot pies, too, and yummy soup. In other words, there's something for everyone! If you have kids, it also is a family friendly place.

No, it's not part of the hotel... it is very close, but on separate property, across a small road.

We were there on our last trip with the group home. We were a large party (11 people) and many of our group had disabilities so we had 4 or 5 wheelchairs too. They were so accomodating! The food was good, portions are very generous and we often split meals. We even had a small food processor with us to puree one meal and they took it back into the kitchen, whizzed up the meal and washed out the processor!! We were very impressed and will certainly eat there when I take my family in June!

As my disappointment with Disney food prices and quality grows I find I am at Mimi's more and more. Mimi's is a delicious bargain in easy walking distance from Disneyland. Check it out!

We ate at Mimi's here in Colorado last week. I recommend the Quiche Lorraine and the BBQ meatloaf. Always good quality food and great service.

I only ate breakfast at Mimi's during my stay but it was sooo good! They have the best eggs florentine and the service was VERY good!!!!!

I should've added that Mimi's has an emotional tie for me; I ate there the night before going into labor with my son, already starting to have some cramping. I must've taken 2 hours at dinner, and never once did they make me feel rushed!
