Oh - I never even realized it. Very sad . I always thought he was talented.

I just looked up Dudley Moore online and the "drunk sounding" voice was probably a symptom of his Brain disease that had already started in the 80s.

It sounds like he was sick for a long time before he was diagnosed.
There wasn't a cure -so it would not have made much difference in the long run.

That's one of the cutest movies EVER. I bought it mainly because I thought it was darling, but my inner crazy cat lady decided to put it on when my cat was in the room to see if he'd react. He was RIVETED. Honestly, he sat there for probably 20 minutes at a stretch, just staring at the TV (he took snack breaks and whatever at various points, but always came right back). I've never seen anything like it.

Glad to see that other people appreciate this film. I grew up with a pug named Molly, and Otis always reminds us of her.

I love Milo & Otis, it's one of my favorite movies. I have it on DVD, & my fiance and I watched it a couple of months ago. It was his first time.
