DD(10) is upstairs watching Milo and Otis.(out sick today)
If your kids haven't seen this movie I highly recommend it. (especially if they like animals)
I love the pugs and and Dudley Moore's narration.
Sometimes you see it at Target for 5 dollars.

The voice acting for the female dog was horrid IMHO. She sounded so bored as she was giving birth :rotfl:

Did you know that it is a Japanese film?

I like the way Dudley does the voice for "Sondra"
I think it is funny
:)

RFLMAO I didnt even realize it was him doing that voice too! :rotfl2:

"Sandra?"

"No it's Sondra, I use the French pronunciation!"

Oh Gosh! I can remember DD19 watching this movie SO many times!!! Timeless.

Yea, he narrates the whole thing doesn't he? Oh I just love that movie. I think Target has it right now dirt cheap (saw it on the five buck rack)

I remember that movie! I got a storybook based on it for my 8th birthday. :)

Love this movie. :lovestruc I may have to pop it in today for DD now. My pugs also enjoy it.

Oh yes, they 'watch' TV! :happytv:

I like how Dudley Moore narrates it, but he does sound a little like he's drunk. :hippie:

ok, how about I inflict some torture on you?

If you know the movie, you know the song. I DARE you not to sing this in your head for the rest of the day....

Gonna take a walk outside today
gonna see what we can find today
gonna take a walk outside today
gonna see what we can find today

And the rest of the words are....

bla bla blum bla bla bla
A curious cat and a pug nosed pup
bla bla bla bla......

:lmao: :lmao: He'll always be Arthur to me!

I think the first "Bla bla blum bla bla bla" is something like "It's a great big world, it's all wrapped up, for a curious cat and a pug nosed pup!".

It's been yeeaaarrss since I saw that one though so I could be wrong :lmao:

he had a brain disorder. Something kind of rare I think.
So sad
One of those things where you do down hill and get really sick before you go.

That movie was my kid's absolute favorite when they were 3 & 4. So much so that we had to get our very own Milo. My dad's barn cat had a litter of kittens, and there was the most beautiful long hair, all white cat with a grey striped tail - I wanted that kitten sooooo bad.

Then there was Milo:

Guess which cat the kids begged for?:sad2: Now I have a scroungy old ginger cat, just like half of the rest of the population.;)
