Millionaire show and kids?

I've been reading about the Millionaire show at MGM on some trip reports and it sounds like it would be fun for me and DH. Is it reasonable/sensible to drag our DDs (3 1/2 and just-turned 6) in there with us, or will that defeat the purpose (for the grown-ups to have fun)?

Is there enough to keep them occupied? Can they (randomly) push the buttons, too?

Any thoughts/experiences appreciated! Thanks!

We just got back yesterday from a trip with a just-turned-seven-year-old. Our Abby really had fun pushing the buttons. She was just sure she was going to get to the hot seat, and when she didn't, she wanted to go right back and see the show, again.

I think you'll be just fine with your two.

The only problem I might forsee with your younger one is one that we had when we were there in May.

Our girls, both toddlers, were a little antsy after a while, and wanted to sit on the floor (they were in between us in their own seats), but the cast member came by and said that everyone had to be in a seat at all times.

This made it not as fun as it could have been had they been still throughout the show, but it was not totally unmanagable.

A few years ago we were there with our barely 4 yr old son and he LOVED just pushing the buttons. Wanted to push EVERYONE's buttons for them. I think we played 2x's and he had fun both times.

My kids, ages 4 & 7, love Millionaire. They watch the show at home so that may be part of it, but its one of their favorite attractions at MGM. And yes, they can push the buttons randomly.

Just got back.

The hostess noted that the youngest person to make the hot seat was 2 years old. Anyone under 12 (?) is allowed to have a parent help.

At our show a 9 year old won. He chose to tough it out by himself, and did well.

My 5 year old enjoyed himself. However, if I were you I would not plan to see the show more than once or twice - the kids have a limited attention span even with all the lights and action.

Other young kids in the audience (toddlers) seemed to do quite well playing with the buttons and watching the big TV screens.
