Heard that the Millionaire game at MGM is closing the end of this week. Has anyone else heard this?

Disney's California Adventure Millionare show closed a long time ago.

They're replacing it with Survivor. You see they're going to show everyone pictures of Richard, and the last one to run screaming out of the theater in panic is the winner. But they'll have warnings posted that the winner does indeed have to pay his or her taxes.

A friend of mine who is big into game shows(goes to conventions and everything) read it on one of his forums. I will have to ask him for more information. I told him that I would ask hear too as Dis ppl know everything

DISNEY180, I know lots of people who go to this often, as do I, and I have heard nothing of the sort BUT I am worried that it will someday be so as attendance is down so often. No FP machines needed anymore and I often see CM's trying to encourage people to come in. I hope not though as I love playing the game against other people.

This is posted on the rumors portion of another website.

The rumor from Disney-MGM Studios is that Midway Blast or Midway Mania, an interactive dark ride with the Toy Story characters, similar to Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, may be heading into the soundstages on Mickey Avenue. Rather than building a new show building for the attraction, it would be taking over the Who Wants to be a Millionaire - Play It building and the one next to it. The new attraction would probably be opening late 2007 or early 2008, and also would be opening in the Disneyland Resort.

I really hope it doesn't go. I would really love this attraction, love the show!! Last time we didn't get to see it b/c my DD was crying and we had to leave. Hopefully, this time will work out better!
