Millennium Hotel in Buffalo

Hi

Has anyone stayed at the Millennium Hotel in Buffalo?
We booked one night, for the park and fly, but after reading the trip reviews (which are horrible i.e. bed bugs, renovations ect) we are having second thoughts.

Hi,
We stayed there Nov2. It was perfectly adequate and clean. It could use some updating, but it was fine. We had a room facing the pool--an indoor atrium--the kids loved it. We were also on the shuttle with some staff
from Southweast airlines. I think you will be fine. The location is incredible for shopping! Go early and do some shopping.

We have stayed there several times and it is fine. There are some rooms that are nicer/more updated than others and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

I have stayed there in the past and we thought it was fine. The pool was chilly, but the room and service were good.

We also saw Southwest Air staff staying there at the same time.

We stayed there in September and it was okay. We requested a renovated room while it wasn't anything special it did the job. Their shuttle service was great. And as a previous poster mentioned Southwest staff uses the hotel. We actually rode the shuttle back to the hotel with the pilots and staff from our flight...our boys got a kick out of being able to ask them about flying a plane.

I've stayed there many times over the years. The most recent being October and November. It does need some updating. But the location is great. Plus the kids love the indoor pool.

There are rooms around the pool with king size beds that face the pool or you can stay in the tower (where is might be quieter) but you only get queen size beds.

Bed bugs can show up anywhere-no matter how fancy the hotel. So I wouldn't use that as an indicator.
