Millenium Village

On the map of EPCOT, there is an area labeled "Site of Millenium Village."

What is this?

is it sort of like behind canada??
we were there in 2000 and the millenium village was there
there were all kinds of countries under that one roof
it was really nice - I'm trying to think of the countries
Scotland, Morocco I can't think of all of them but there were many
maybe it is used for something else now?

So it's not the site of some future area or attraction?

Since the Millenium celebration ended, it's used for special events and dinners. I've been to pin trading events there and our Illuminations dinner was there in October.

We went through the Millenium Village in 2000. Very nice addition to World Showcase! I remember reading some threads about being in and out of the Village in 30 min. but I think we were in there a couple of hours! It was great!

Millineum Village sits behind a gate in Canada. Last year it was open for a buffet meal during New Year's Eve. Don't know if that will be the case this year.

It is also available to rent out for private parties and Disney does YES and other corporate training programs in there.

I went in for the doll show last December. It's now just one large room, all the partitions from the Millenium Village are gone.

I always thought they should have left Millenium Village as a permenant addition to WS. It was a great, hands-on place. We spent hours & hours in there.

we also loved it spent hours in there and went back a second time it was so great
I really wished they would have kept it too
