Millenium mall opens today

The new mall opens today. I'm not sure where it is at. I know you can see it off of I-4.

The most important store in there is Yankee Candle. Oh, there is Nordstroms and Macys? too, I think!

Yeah, DH is walking around now...says it is real nice...but that we cant afford to shop there!

I drove by it (on accident) a few weeks ago before it opened. It looks very nice.

Yes, The Mall at Millenia opened today just off I4 and Conroy Road. My husband and I were among the 65,000 people to pass through it by 5:00PM this afternoon. It's just beautiful and I think it'll become a destination in itself for tourists.

Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, and Macy's are the anchor stores for this very "high end" mall. Nordstrom just opened last week at the Florida Mall here and that is one beautiful store!

Unfortunately I had to drive over that way for a meeting. My mistake in taking the Conroy exit rather than Kirkman. They had traffic rerouted all around that area. There is no way I am going near that mall until it has been open for a couple of weeks and even then, I think I will take a morning off from work to do it.

I did wonder why they spent all that money on the new exit and roads there if they were just going to reroute traffic anyway. And they had one of the mall owners on the news tonight saying they think that the traffic will be this bad until after Christmas..at least on the weekends.
