Millenia Mall

I haven't been there, but DH was b/c a guy he was traveling with had to get to the Cheesecake Factory there for dinner and DH said it took forever! I think it would be cheaper to rent a car for a day if I had to guess. We took a cab from OKW to the Premium Outlets and it was over $20, and that's pretty close, which Millenia Mall is not.

I can't imagine it being under about $30. The next exit is downtown Orlando, so it's a poke. And sometimes getting back onto I-4 to get back to WDW is a parking lot--with that meter tick-tick-ticking away.

It's just a mall. Really. Unless you have a lot of cash to blow (in which case the taxi meter won't matter) on the high end retailers, there's nothing that isn't in every other mall.

The Mall at Millenia is a good ways from WDW. Like a PP said, I couldn't imagine it being less than $30.

We looked into get a cab to take us to the Premium Outlets from GF, and the concierge told me it would be around $50 - 60. :confused3

According to the Mears calculator, from DTD (the closest point, I think), it would run you around $30 one way--and that's not taking into account I-4 traffic. I'm with Anne on this one, it is just a mall--a mall with cool fountains and some nice restaurants, but still just a mall.

Angela, $50-$60 is too high a rate just for the Premium Outlets, which are actually fairly close; maybe he thought you meant Millenia?

Yep it's a couple exits past Universal on I-4, so from Disney it's a good 20 minute drive on I-4, nice mall though.

:teeth: I love that mall

I was happy when I moved from NJ there was a mall to satisfy my craving to clear out my wallet :rotfl:
