Milk Available at AKL Concierge?

Hi Everyone!
We just booked Feb 5 - 8 at AKL Concierge (Yea!!!). My 2 yr old drinks a lot of milk and I was wondering when and if it was available at the lounge? In the past we've rented refridgerators and bought our own gallon, but I'd hate to shell out even more $$$ if they had milk at the lounge - or do they have their own ref. that I could keep milk in?

You can ask for milk at the concierge at any time. Also, the concierge rooms come with a refrigerator gratis, so you should not have any problems.

We just returned from AKL concierge and pretty much whatever you asked for you got if it wasn't out.

The fridge in the room was nice.

On the conciege bar they have chocolate and white milk.

My children got Nestle Chocolate milk out of the refrigerator on the concierge bar for themselves.

I hope you all enjoyed the concierge service. Please let me know if you have any advice or coments on the service. We booked the Sunrise Safari too, so I hope my son will like that as well. I'm really looking forward to this - can't believe we're going!

We did the Sunrise Safari on Dec. 6. It was a cold morning. The concierge cm said that we would get huge African blankets to keep us warm. What they didn't tell us is that you had to get them at the AKL before you left for AK. I heard several families asking for blankets before boarding on the Safari Trucks and the cms at AK said they didn't have any blankets and acted like they didn't know what people were talking about. I only saw one family with a blanket and they said they asked for it at the Lodge before getting on the buses. We wore coats and gloves. My daughter and son also wore hats.

You will love the Safari. It was the highlight of our trip. My DH, DS9 and DD7 thought it was terrific and the buffet is delicious. One of the tour guides sat with us at breakfast and we were able to ask her many questions.
