Milk at Wilderness Lodge?

We leave in 29 days! Does anyone know if you can purchase a quart of milk at one of the shops in the Wilderness Lodge? We will be making a store stop but won't be able to buy milk because we won't know if our room will be ready or not. Help! Many thanks!

According to a previous post, yes, there is milk sold at WL.

You can buy it at Roaring Fork counter service restaurant at WL.

Hi! My DD and I are "milk pigs" and you can buy milk at the WL store - I forgot the name of it. I can't remember if it is a pint - I'm not good with measurements. I know it is T.G. Lee - "chug jug" - if that helps. They also have chocolate - our favorite!

Milk to me is like coffee for my DH so we know where the milk is located at the resorts!!

It is usually cheaper to buy milk in the gift shop rather than the food court. Does anyone know if this is the case at WL too?

I'm not looking forward to finding out how much the quarts of milk are at WDW considering how much gallons are here

Although I don't know the exact price, I do know that we have bought milk in the gift shop during previous visits.

We just bought milk at the BC and CSR last week. It was the guart chug jug for $1.75 for white 2%. We bought it at the stores, not the fast food areas, which charged $1.29 for the individual size!

Stayed at VWL (next to WL) in May 2003. They did have milk (and a decent varity of other light groceries) at the back of the gift shop in the main lobby. I think 1/2 gallon was around $3, but I'm not sure. Still cheaper than buying those little mini-milks at the food court every morning for the kids!

They had lots of other stuff, orange juice, loaves of bread, bp&j, lunch meat, ketchup and other toppings, hot dogs (and buns) even alcohol...you get the idea. If all you need are a few things, it's easier to pay the higher prices at the gift shop than make a grocery stop on the way. But if you really want to stock up and plan on eating a lot in the room, then head for the gorcery store before going to the hotel.

If your room isn't ready, baggage/bell services will keep your perishables refrigerated for you!
