Military Tickets

I saw this posted on another discussion board. If someone purchases military DL tickets for us, can we use them if we do not have military IDs? (People on another board said that they have used military tickets without military IDs and that you only need a military ID to purchase the tickets but not necessarily to use them.) Does anyone know if the same applies to Knott’s and/or Legoland tickets?
