On one of the threads, someone mentioned a military discount. Can anyone help me with where you can get these and how it works.

My cousin spent the summer at basic training. He is coming to visit me in Vegas in January, and since he is 20 and unable to enjoy most of what Las Vegas has to offer (yet is OK to be shot at in another country and sent out there to protect our nation...but I won't get started on that), I figured I would surprise him and we would head to LA. I am planning on hitting Disney for a couple of the days.

Thanks for any help I can get and if any Military personnel or their families are reading...thank you for all you do and the sacrifices that you make for all of us!

"Military Discounts

There are always military discounts on Disneyland admission -- ranging from 8-30%, depending on the time of year. Check with your base MWR for info. Military ID may be required at the gate, though many readers report buying military tickets for friends and relatives who used them without problems."

It is possible to receive a better discount with other promotions, I would have your cousin check the information out at his base's MWR, then you can do a little bit of comparison shopping, once you have his information, then you can let us know, and we can assist in finding possibly an even better deal.
For example, currently Disneyland is offering a $99.00 3 day park hopper ticket, (purchase at Vons for ex. in So. Ca.) however, it requires one to reside in So. Ca. or Baja, Ca. if you know someone that is a So.Ca. resident, they can purchase them for you, and using them, should not be a problem, based upon what I have read on this website.

Thanks.

I never thought to check out mousesavers for the info. My main problem is that I am trying to make it a suprise. He thinks he is just coming to Vegas again to see me. While I am going to suprise him with skydiving over by the hoover damn, most of the time will be in LA.

I have no problem paying regular price since I am very proud of him serving. Just figured I would look into it.

AAA roadside membership also offers tickets to DL, (not all offices, however many do) some offices offer them at a further discount, for example one Diser, in Az. received a $10.00 discount for a 2 day park hopper, at my local office, not the case, but that is o.k. for I would have been surprised to have received a discount on them.
Parking is free at the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure, with the AAA park hopper tickets, otherwise parking is now $12.00 a day.
Currently, the 2 day park hopper ticket is $132.00.
