Military tickets questions

We need 7 day tickets, with water parks (not hopper). We are eligible to buy the Salute tickets, but from my reading, the other options would be Stars and Stripes tickets (?only purchased at SOG; we are staying at BLT) and tickets purchased at our local base's ITT office (we are in the DFW area and our base shows that they have "WDW tickets"). Even with the discount on Salute tickets, it would be not much of a savings because we have to add on a 2-day ticket (using one day from the Salute ticket for a water park, thus 7 days total) to get our 7 days for the parks we want. The S/S tickets from SOG are a better deal, and no tax. But what kind of wait times can we expect at the SOG ticket office in May?

Lastly, what type of discount are the tickets from my local base? Are they just regular WDW MYW tickets, but no tax? Or the SOG prices?? Confused here...

With the S&S you are paying for it all: hopper and waterparks and more for the price of

adult: $338
kid: $322

for Magic Your Way tickets you can choose water or hopper

Adult : $336
Kid: $322

there really isn't much of a difference in price

now if you buy the new promo they are for 4 days at $156 each and if you buy the ones for the water park they don't take away from your days at the parks so it is like having 8 days on your tickets!

I know our ITT when they used to sell the tickets we had to pay S&H on our tixs so it raised the price a little that it would be buying straight from Shades.

as for a long wait we have never had a long wait for our tixs in all the yrs we have been going. SOG now has it where they let you pre-purchase them and are waiting for you when you check in but that I believe is only for those staying there. But maybe you could call them and see about pre-purchasing.
