We are checking into our hotel on a Saturday evening, ASM. We have the 5 day military vouchers. We have early morning CRT ressies on Sunday before park opening. Where do we go to exchange the vouchers for tickets? Can we do this Saturday evening? If we have to catch one of the buses to a park to exchange them that's fine we just don't want to enter a park on Saturday and use one of our days. Thank you for you help.

We did it at Magic Kingdowm at the widnow you buy tickets at so I don't see why you couldn't do it the night before as long as they didn't close up by then. (the window not the park)!!!

Just got back and my cousin, who is Military went to Shades of Green the night before to get our passes. He did not have the vouchers though. They also sell Universal and Sea World Passes for the military as well.

Sea World he did better by going to the park himself and doing it that way. He saved more money.

I beleive they are open till 8pm every night to get the tickets. I also didn't realize how beautiful the resort was!

Hope you have an awesome time!

I just talked to SOG last week and they told me they're open til 9pm every day of the year in the ticket office :)

We had this exact situation when visiting at the end of April!!

You don't need to do anything the night you arrive if you don't want to, you will have plenty of time in the morning.

All you need to do is get to the park about 15 - 20 minutes prior to your check-in time at CRT. Go to the Guest Services/Ticket Windows outside the turnstiles at MK, to the left when looking at the train station, and present your vouchers to the CM. He or she will need a little bit of info and the Military ID of the person activating the tickets and a few minutes later you will be good to go!

From there, go through the turnstiles that are open for people that have early morning reservations at CRT, CP or BBB and you're done! Plenty of time for a stroll up an empty Main Street, some pictures in front of an empty castle and time to check-in at CRT.

However, if you do decide you want to take care of things the night before, you don't have to go to MK ... ANY ticket window/guest services can help!! You can visit any park OR Downtown Disney, which is open until 11:00pm.

Have a magical trip!

We just bought our tickets at SOG and then had them activated at the Ticket window at MK. I wouldnt activate them on the night b4 because it counts as a day.

That's not actually the case ...

When you activate them all it does is "enables" the tickets to be used at the turnstiles, it doesn't actually get you in to any parks. Once "activated" they are just like any other tickets.

Oh ok. We asked at the ticket counter at SOG and they told us we had to wait till the first day we were going to use them to go to the counter to activate them because once they are "turned on" (so to speak) we have 5 days from that day to use them.

so, this may sound like a silly question, but we purchased all 5 tickets and only activated 2 (knowing we were coming back to use the others later). When we go in Dec and activate the other 3 does that mean we have 5 days from the first day we use them to go or can we take a day break in the middle (we are there for 6 full days) to do Universal or Sea World?

You can purchase vouchers at Shades of Green, but they will not be active tickets. If you already have the vouchers (or have gotten them at SOG), you must activate them at a ticket window before you can get into a park. Or if you are okay with paying tax on the tickets you can buy active tickets at a ticket window and bypass the whole voucher thing.

I'm planning on going to Downtown Disney to activate ours. We're staying offsite and will have a rental car, so it's easier to do the tickets at downtown disney with free parking than at one of the parks. Also Downtown Disney's ticket window stays open late (I think it may be 10 or 11pm).

Also, the tickets don't expire 5 days after activation. They are valid until December 20-something-or-other, when the promotion ends. So technically, if you wanted to could go to the parks 2 days, then return next month and use the last 3 days. Have fun!

I would def activate the night before. We used them last week, and the lines Sunday morning at the window was long and the cast members are very nice, but they talk and talk and talk!!! We did ours at TTC.

we just got back from a glorious 2 week vacation, and my son in law was with us. he just got back from iraq and obtained the passes. he did have to go to the window at the park to get them. his was free and ours were $99.
we had a blast!

Does anyone know what time the window at SOG opens in the morning to purchase the vouchers?

Thank you all for your help. We will try to go to DTD on that Saturday night and get our vouchers activated.
