Military takes a "coffee break"

Much of the media have been degrading the "pause" that the military has provided the combat forces. Overextended supply lines, lack of supplies, need for reinforcements, re-doing are whole battle plan and garbage like that!

One Military analyst said what I expected all along. He stated that the soldiers were taking a "coffee break". Yes, they are getting re-supplied--and that is normal for any force that has traveled at this speed. It is also a time to let the common soldier take a breather. They were showing scenes of Soldiers getting hair cuts, washing socks, playing football, and GETTING MAIL FROM HOME!! For all the relatives worried about that, I saw lots of smiling soldiers opening mail and packages. What a morale boost!

I wonder why some in the media think the troops whould be moving 24/7. That is NOT reasonable.

I'm glad to hear this also. They must be physically and mentally exhausted. Hopefully they have plenty of adrenaline!
To listen to some of the news stations you'd think we were losing, you think this was a disaster of a mission for us... why do they report the news like that? I actually don't remember anyone buit the media saying this was going to be quick. Did I miss something?

I'm getting so tired of the news media blowing certain things way out of proportion. Don't they get it? This is a real war and not a game! Not everything that occurs on the battlefield can fall into a perfectly-timed schedule.
