Military Stars and stripes tickets

I have searched and can't find the answer. so the Stars and stripes tickets can only be purchased at shades of green? Also, if I have a free dining package how do I get the stars and stripes tickets? And how do you get your FP+ booked? Thanks for the help!

1) yes, stars & stripes can only be purchased at SOG. You need military ID to buy them.

2) if you have a free dining package you can't get the stars & stripes tickets. You can only get free dining as part of a package which requires full price room and tickets.

3) can't help with the fp+ since I haven't used it, but I don't think you'll be able to book your fp+ until after you get to SOG and buy the passes. They don't sell those passes thru the mail, unless they've changed their policy in the past couple years.

Not adding much here. Disney FD resort stay requires minimum 2-day base tickets. If you plan to use other tickets, the resort Concierge can put the 2-day tickets on separate plastic ticket media that you can take home. Then you won't accidentally use them, bc you would have two separate tickets on the MagicBands. Put them in an envelope and label them. Later, they can used on a future WDW trip and upgraded, or they can be sold/given to someone else. They are transferrable and never expire, if unused. We have done this.

I would suggest calling SoG and asking if the MYW S&S tickets can be purchased in advance so that you can be given a usable code to input for FP+. Worth the call.

I don't think so. Since you need to show them your Resort ID, and a CAC card.

Magic Your Way Stars and Stripes Tickets are available only for guests who are staying at Shades of Green Resort or who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort or staying at a Resort located on Walt Disney World Resort. A Military Identification Card or Department of Defense Identification Card and resort I.D. must be presented at time of purchase.

You can only get them in advance IF you are staying at SOG . You can purchase them when you get there for stays in other Disney resorts. NOW if you want to get the Salute 4 day military tickets............you can get those at SOG but not until arrival unless you are staying there. Also, you get them at most military bases...ITT. I did contact SOG and if you stay 1 night at the beginning of your trip...you can PREORDER..... as long as you stay one night. THEN you can reserve FP's 30 days out.
