Military Salute ticket questions?

Do we have to buy all the tickets at once? OR can I buy 4 and then buy 2 later if two other people indeed come with us? OR should I wait and get them all at once? I know we are limited to 6 so I was wondering about this. I don't want to buy 6 if we only need 4 and we really won't know until closer to our trip. TIA

In the past, we've been able to buy them as we needed them and activate them on different visits. However, things change every year. Cheshire Figment, the resident ticket guru, should come along and tell you whether that's still the case.
