Military Salute 4 Day Tickets

Hello,

I have a question to the military families out there that have used the Salute 4 Day Tickets. In guidelines it says that you can PURCHASE 12 tickets throughout the promotion but cannot ACTIVATE more than 6 per 7 day period. Some websites say that the ticket counters can activate more than 6 per week if you find someone willing to do it. Has anyone had any luck activating more than 6 tickets per week? My husband is running the Marathon in the beginning of next month and myself, my parents, and my aunt and uncle are coming down for a total of 10 days.

I read the locked sticky concerning the military passes and have concerns now about our March trip. My Mom is a surviving spouse of a retired vet and I am the spouse of a retired vet (he can not come with us). My Mom and I had planned to purchase 12 passes between the two of us, but now it sounds like that will not be allowed. We need tickets for my 3 children, 2 spouses, 2 grandchildren, my Dad, stepmom, niece, and of course myself and Mom. Will this be allowed?

You will each be able to purchase 12 with your dependent/spouse ID as long as it is current. In your situation you will each purchase 6 and then go to the gate at any park and activate them. If you are not purchasing them at the base get them at Shades of Green ticket office so you wont have to pay tax. If you need more than 4 days then you can go back to Shades during your trip and each purchase another 6.
