Military Room discount?

My husband and I are both DoD civilian with CAC card, I know we can stay at Shades of Green and can buy regular tickets at MWR (but not salute tickets). Does anyone know if we can get the military room discount? I have read conflicting things online about it. Thanks!

No, you cannot. You need to be either active duty, retired (20 years of service) or 100% permanently disabled veteran.
