Do you have to be in the military or a retiree to get the discount? I was in the military for 8 years and was in Desert Storm. I have my DD214. Is this enough to get the discounts? Thanks everyone

I'm pretty sure you have to have an active or retired ID card to qualify. Not 100% sure on that though. Good luck.

at the above link, it refers to DD form 2 - is that what you mean?
if so, that's all you need for shades of green

For the Armed Forces Salute Tickets you must be current Active Duty or Retired with an ID card. Just being a veteran does not count.

Military= need id card. I had to show mine in order to receive the discount tickets. We are Reservists.

I got ours at Shades of Green when we stayed there once & we also got them at the ticket centers, you don't have to just get them at SOG. You can also get them at the military bases from MWR before you leave.

check out those links & call your local base MWR before hand. you might qualify if you're a vet & just not know it. but call first. you don't want to take the chance & go & then realize you can't get the tickets at the discount price. that would be a big bummer.
