Military pass with Express option?

I've done a search but didn't find an answer to this one. We'd like to buy our 3 day park to park passes at Shades of Green when we arrive in Orlando. If we bring them to be activated, can we add the Express pass at that time? Or is it something that has to be done beforehand?

I haven’t bought at Shades of Green, but I don’t think you can add Express Pass until you’ve activated the tickets at Universal - it’s not a “real” ticket until then. Also, assuming you’re eligible, the Military Freedom pass (unlimited visits til end of 2022, $200 2-park or $235 3-park) would likely save you a decent amount of money vs. the cost of a 3-day park-to-park ticket, so I’d look into that as well! Finally, depending when you go, Express may not be needed each day - you could be better off evaluating crowds and seeing if it’s necessary. Hope you have a great trip!

Thanks -- that's what I'm asking -- can I add the Express pass when I activate the tickets at Universal? I'll look into the Freedom Pass as well.

I’m fairly sure that yes, you can add Express at the time that you activate (Only time I activated my Pass I was staying onsite and already had Express so I haven’t encountered this).
