Does anyone have recent experience using the 4 day Military Salute tickets with Fastpass+? I'm wondering if there is a way to use these tickets with the new system, to get fast pass reservations 30 days out. I can't buy these tickets locally, so I'll have to go a little bit further out to find a base that sells WDW tickets; however, the only reason I'd do that is to be able to register those tickets with fast pass and get my reservations earlier. Otherwise, I'm guessing we'll just buy our tickets at the gate (maybe the night before), and register then. Any other suggestions?

My family and I got the 4 day passes through our ITT office here at our base. And on the back it has a ticket code that you can put in on the site to link to your My Disney Experience. We are staying on site, so we were able to secure our FP+ choices at the 60 day out mark.

Hope that helps!

Sure do! I got ours on base here in town. When I bought them the lady said it would 2 weeks for them to come in. They came in 3 days later.

When I had tickets in hand I was able to book my FP+, we are staying on site.

We are staying at Shades of Green, so we are considered off-site for the purposes of FP+. SOG actually e-mailed ticket order forms 40-45 days prior to arrival, then we had to fill them out and fax or mail them back. They say it will take 72 hours turn around, but I got copies of the vouchers e-mailed to me within 24 hours. I was then able to input the vouchers into MDE and make my FP+ selections at the 30-day mark.

Also, look for the nearest military location of any service, not just the nearest one of your service. DH and I are retired AF, and the nearest AF base is over an hour away. However, the Navy Reserve has a unit about 20 minutes away, and I could also get tickets there if I needed to. These are Armed Forces tickets, so not specific to service. Any military installation with an ITT (or similar) office should be able to help you.

Our nearest base is over 100 miles away. I called the travel office there and asked if they could be mailed since we live so far away. They were able to mail for a $5.00 fee, which I was happy to pay. It took less than a week to get the ticket vouchers. I added the voucher numbers to My Disney Experience and was able to book FP+ 60 days out since we're staying onsite. www.militarydisneytips.com is a helpful resource.
