Although she is still a child, she still has common sense. If you're a pop star with young girls as the majority of your fans, and you know they look up and idolize you, it's common sense not to take a photo that makes it seem like you're naked. She KNOWS little girls look up to her and try to copy everything she does.
I think your statement "everyone has the right to express them self in anyway possible" is pretty vague. People murder to express themselves. People tie dogs to poles in museums to watch them starve to death to express themselves. I certainly think that people should be able to express themselves, but not in any way possible. Her doing VF has probably hurt thousands of fans all over the nation. They look up to her, but then they see her seemingly topless on a cover of a magazine (or on every single channel)? I've heard of a ton of people's little sisters, or even people themselves, that looked up to her until those photos.
