milesource redemption oct, 2002 - no giftcertificate

I cashed out of milesource the beginning of october 2002, have received no giftcerticate from giftcertificates.ca.

I have written to giftcertificates.ca and they said a month ago they were waiting for milesource to give them more info. I have written to milesource and they said in two weeks, this was the beginning of dec. I have written a week ago to milesource no response.

Anyone else still waiting for a giftcertificate from october?

Sounds like a phone call to customer care may be in order. Emailing them seems to accomplish nothing. Here's a phone number for MileSource that I got from another board:

I've been a member of milesource since early 2001. I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I have ALWAYS gotten my gift certificates. The bad news is that I have had to fight EVERY time to get my gc. I've learned that the problem always lies with milesource, not gc.ca. I kept emailing over and over again to milesource and sometimes I even got a representative from gc.ca to talk to milesource. It often took months to receive my gc, but they DO come through if you're persistent. GOOD LUCK!

I redeemed my points for a gift cert. last Oct. and finally got it two weeks ago.

I redeemed for GiveAnything in early December and got mine today.

Now lets see how long it takes to get my Footlocker certificate.

I redeemed for Movie Passes in October and received them a couple of weeks ago, so don't lose hope! Although, I think Milesource is the slowest program for redemptions! I hope it comes soon!!

Hi: Just to update everyone, I have tried numerous times to call the 2l2 number and when I am transferred to the milesource rep it always says the line is not available. I have left my name and number but not call back, I have emailed milesource about 8 times no response. But I did email giftcertificates.ca and they had my order but said that they were waiting for milesource to release it, whatever that means. I have redeemed before with no trouble but I am not sure what their problem is.

I am going to stop clicking, because there is no sense if I am getting no response or no giftcertificate.
