Have you been to milesource today? A $25 gc is now worth 11,000 points. Yesterday it was 5,000 points!!!!!! A $50 gc is 21,000 points!!!!!!! After cashing out next, I'm FINISHED with milesource!

Did they change the points earning value or anything like that? That's just crazy to raise the rates that high if they didn't.

Thanks for the info. Glad I cashed out a few weeks ago.

I am soooooo mad. I am a couple of days away from the 4,000 pts and I was going to wait until I hit 5,000. Now this. It's always something . First Blink, then luck pts and pch points lower their pt totals now this. I know that this is stuff you get for free but why do they offer it if they don't stick to what they offer???? Aggravated. And, then there's memolink. Don't get me started.

I am so mad........ I have over 4800 points and was planning on redeeming a gift certificate when I reached 5000 points. I have been with milesource for a long time. I still remember when it used to only take 3500 points to get a $25 gift certificate and you used to earn 50 points a day. I can understand a gradual increase in point redemptions but not when you more than double it. A year ago they cheated me out of points on top of that. I am going to email them right now and voice my opinion.

I'm sooo glad I stopped doing this one. I was thinking about starting up again. You think it's bad that you have 1000 more points to go before you can get what you want, but I've got it worse. I've already cashed out for MileSource rewards and now the prizes I wanted, I can't get.

Talk about being a bit miffed! I could just spit! I'm going to have to give them a piece of my mind. They had better send me enough to get the things I wanted.

Have you looked at the 1000 prizes. They look like they are samples. That's no prize and certainly not worth my time!

Sorry if I've gone on a bit, it's just a bit frustrating.

CJK -- Thanks for posting this. I'd rather know now then when I went to get my prizes and found out I couldn't!

AARRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I literally just cashed in for 9,000 points earlier this week. I was going for the $50 Wal Mart certificate now it is 21,000!!!!!!!!!!!! There isn't even anything in the 9,000 point section.

My mom is soooo close to cashing out at 9,000. Oh this is sooo frustrating. There is nothing worthwhile until you get to 11,000.

So now what to do.... work till I get 2000 more points? They should let you redeem at the rates that were in effect when you cashed out. I may actually write them about this.

This really stinks! Two days ago I was a few points away from getting a $50 GC and now I don't even have enough for a $25 GC. MileSource is dead after I cashout.

$25.00 GCwas at one time 3200 then 5000 now it's 11,000.

How cow..................that is so not worth it..............

What's even worse is if you cashed out at 9000 for $50 code and waiting over 6 weeks for the stupid code, the code will be worthless!!! I also will be giving them up, after reporting this latest trick to BBS and planetfeedbackl.com. After all, those of us who cashed out before the raise should be entitled to what they were cashing out for.

That's more than double. I have 4793 and was going to redeem and stop doing this.

I had cashed out for 1000 and was quitting. I was going to get $1 for McDonald's. They are going to have words from me. It took me over a month to be able to cash out for 1000 pts anyway because of some "problem" they thought was on my end! Ah!

DH cashed out for 9000 and we were going to get our $50 GC to Olive Garden and you know what they had better honor those cashouts! I like the idea of contacting the BBB. I've had enough!

I sent them a long note about how disappointed I was with the change without any warning. As soon as I get enough to cash out I will be going back to faithfully using MYpoints at least they give a warnign when they will be changing the number of points you need to cash out for certain things--like 2 years ago when they upped the amount of a RFC gift card. I'm certainly not going to work that hard for free samples I can get at the supermarket or by visiting the manufacturers website.

They definitely deserve nasty notes from all of us. I don't know how they expect that it is fair to jump so astronaumically high! So upsetting. I was getting sikked for the $25 card. When I tried to voice my opinion today it wouldn't let me. It kept saying that I wasn't a customer. Well, I was in my account? Duh? They also sent me something else about buying things for points. Well, if I wasn't a customer why do I have totals and then they sent me an email. I think that it was really screwed up. I will send them a nasty note or two. They should have in the very least given us some warning.

Here's the e-mail they sent me. You'll notice that they didn't tell me how to redeem.

Thank you for contacting us.

Please note that you will still be able to redeem for a $25 Gift certificate. The new point level is effective for new redemptions only.

We apologize for the delay in the receipt of your gift certificate. Typically it takes between 4-6 weeks to receive a gift certificate but we are still experiencing some delay in our redemption process.

We are working diligently to fulfill all redemption requests. In the interim please continue to check your email.

Thank you for your patience.

Think I will really be able to redeem????

Good luck. I hope that you will be able to redeem it for the $25 that you are entitled to. This is only because you already sent for a certificate, yes? Lucky you. you should receive your card sometime before you're 100. But, I'm still clicking away.
