Bears...why are you so worried? The entire room got a warning -- it wasn't directed solely at you. Recently my DD got dc and just as soon as she got back on and entered back into her friend-filled room, a reminder popped up warning that she should not give out personal information. She was dc for at least 5 minutes, and after she got back into the room she asked what happened. Other people received the warning as well -- but my DD had nothing to do with it. If you did not give out personal information, what have you got to be worried about?

I guess I wasnt clear... There was a second incident with a different friend... and she sent me a message saying she was looking all over the internet to find me... and can I give her more direction so she could find me....

And I hope she does find me here... lol She is a sweet older lady I met in VMK central a while back. Lovely lady, sweet as can be, but is a bit more talkitive about things that she should be.... that's all. Innocent....

Like I said, this is just a freak out on my part.... but I have traded a lot of my goodies away for a bit just to be safe.

Ah...ok. Sorry I misunderstood. But still...if you didn't offer any personal information, and insisted you not talk about things like that on VMK...then I think you should be ok.

UPDATE... Well someone just sent me a message inside of VMK which basically said I looked all over the internet for you...... I am toast now huh???

Just don't answer. If they say anything else tell them it is against VMK rules.

I think (hope) that you are ok bearz. I have been in rooms that got the pop warning several times. I believe it is just a warning. Seems from what I have heard from the banned, that if they wanted to ban you, you would already know.. and be banned!

I was banned for answering a question about my title in vmk , with "sorry i can't answer your question about what CDN stands for in CDNMickey its agaisnt VMK values to give out personal information" boom i was gone , banned no waring just gone. was told the reason for my bann was that i gave out personal info to other player.

Bearz, I'm sorry you've had the you-know-what scared out of you over this. Hopefully everything is okay. I would think you would have a great chance of getting unbanned if VMK decided to ban you over this situation. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Imagine how paranoid I was after a VMK staff member tried to discuss one of my posts on this board with me! I still don't know what the right thing to do is in that situation.

Ah, yes! I've been there. And the answer is: Just talk to them. You dont technically have to answer for anything you said here - since it was out of VMK. However, if they take the time to find you - there is probably something that they want to have a chance to clarify. When this happened to me, I was assured several times that I was NOT in trouble, and I wasn't. It actually was a nice chance to have a question answered for me (after I stopped freaking out long enough to process anything ).
