We're planning our next trip and MIL has decided to join us. She has arthritis and isn't able to walk that far. I've never had to look into scooters, lol. Advice on what company? I know she could rent one at each park, but we want an outside company so she can keep it for the whole trip. Thanks!

Best Price Mobility can deliver it to Bell services at your resort. It will be waiting for you there.

Post #2 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread, pinned near the top of the disABILITIES Forum, lists both "featured" and "non-featured" vendors with some feedback from other DISers. Featured vendors can utilize Bell Services for pick-up and return; non-featured vendors will arranged to meet with you personally which may be good if she needs a sort of introduction to using an ECV.

Enjoy your vacation!

My mom who often travels with us uses a scooter. My advice is to use a rental company. They are cheaper than renting from Disney daily and you get to keep it for the long walks to the buses. If you are staying on property, use a featured vendor so you don't have to wait around meeting the vendor and returning the scooter.
