Sorry to hear about postponing. We planned for a Nov 09 wedding, back in June of 08. just to make SURE we could pay it off. (Still struggling though)

I just read your whole PJ - I LOVE everything you have done so far! I especially like the tank tops - I am going to have to go look for stuff on ebay!!! The flowers are amazing - so much better than the ones from disney. Do you think it a mistake to go through the disney florist at WDW - do you think I should order from cape canveral instead?

I think its a good thing that you moved your date - it gives you more time to plan.

I am just curious if you are doing the beach ceremony have you heard anything about these supposedly mystery enhancements for the ceremony decor?

Hmmm....what kind of enhancements are you speaking of? I haven't heard of anything. It's pretty low-key, having it through Disney, but that's what makes it kind of beautifully simplified. Life should be that way sometimes!

It's about time I updated my PJ! I have more stuff to post but I'll start with the ribbon I bought.

I went to NY 2 weekends ago to see family. It was a good opportunity to go ribbon shopping for this incredible hand dyed ribbon i have used before and really wanted for our floral bouquets. It's not something you can really buy online if you want to know what you're getting. Due to the "hand dyed" aspect, each ribbon spool is truly unique. So if it looks one way online that doesn't mean that's what you'll receive in the mail. Just the nature of the product.

So I wanted to go to M&J Trimmings (a huge, well known trimmings store) when I was there. I went with my best friend, Becca, which was really nice b/c it's the one wedding thing we've been able to do together. (She lives in CT and I live in FL.) We spent a LONG time going through all the ribbon but ultimately choose this one. It's white with a purple edge (it's a little blue but next to purple flowers Becca and I agreed it'll look more on the purple side) and it's about 2" wide. It was not cheap - $7.98 per yard - so I got 4 yards. We only have 3 bouquets to wrap though so it should suffice.
