Seriously, congratulations!!!! You're going to Disney World! And you're $200 richer too! I want some exciting days like that!

So are we going to be in WDW at the same time too??? I didn't realize so many folks were going!

Mike -- That is so awesome! See? You were meant to be there! I have never made it to WDW at Christmas time yet, and I really want to do that. Maybe next year. Your plans all sound absolutely amazing and joyful! LeCellier is my FAVORITE (maple glazed salmon -- YUM!). Congratulations on your big win and for putting the funds to such great use! So glad you don't think you'll be spending money on a scooter. That is amazing! Look at how far you have come, buddy! You should be so proud of yourself!

BTW, if we get to WDW in April, it will probably be 4/14-20. Maybe we'll catch each other there another time!

I think I was meant to be there too! hehe! I am soo excited to be in the World for even just a few days at that time of the year!! Closest I got before was being there for the millenium new year's so most of the decorations were up or coming down but none of the holiday shows were going still. I am soooo thrilled to see the processional and the MVMCP! hehe

Sorry we will miss each other in April, I would love to extend my trip a few days backwards so i could meet ya!! But i think my boss would not be so happy if I added 4 days to an 8 day trip already! LOL

Howdy all!!

My excitement continues!! hehe!
I called Disney Dining today to make my reservations and it went pretty well over all! I did not get Le Cellier for dinner for the Candlelight Processional which was my first choice but I will survive, hehe! I will probably deviate a little from my food plan on the trip but I will stick to portion control when I do "indulge" and I am sure with all the walking I will do well! So here's my results...

Mon. Dec 5th
* 6:45pm Candlelight Processional
* 8pm Dinner at Marrakesh

Tues. Dec. 6th
* 8:15am breakfast at Crystal Palace
* 5:15pm Dinner at Tony's Town Square
* Then Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!

I am excited about this of course! I have eaten at the Tangerine Cafe but never Marrakesh, so this will be fun. It was my second choice! Both days will be commando. I will be arriving early so I won't be able to get in my room at Pop til later that day so I am going to head directly to Epcot and will just hit my room that night I think. Then it is up bright and early to be in MK early at CP! I loved that last trip so I will love it again! hehe Now I just have to remember to buy myself a santa hat with Mickey ears to wear to the Party! LOL Christmas and Disney are two of my favorite things, so this will be a great trip!

I hope to get to journals this afternoon, so I will check in on everyone then!

Ok, you're killing me here, I could totally do that same schedule if, no, no, WHEN we go!! Our timeshare trade is still scheduled for Dec. 2-9, and I'm getting to the point here that if Elaine objects or makes a stink, I'll take the kids and go without her!!! I've told my kids about your amazing story and progress, I think it would be a great inspiration to them to meet you too! You're going to become a celebrity! OK, in the words of the Death Star commander when told by Vader that the Emperor is coming to visit: "We'll redouble our efforts!!" I guess I will need to re-commit to some more weight loss discipline in the meantime too. Then I can use meeting you, my great inspiration, as an excuse for making the trip!!!

Hi Mike.....Just a quick note to tell you that I am just so excited for you in both your accomplishments and your upcoming trip/.....I'm trying to eat well - did rea;ly well for 2 days Walk Away the Pounds....then on Sunday/.......fell down my deck stairs and broke my tail bone......no exercise for me now. Just being really careful about what I eat.
Looking forward to my trip..... 19 days and counting.

I love the idea of a WISH meet! We were planning to be in Epcot on the 5th, so that would definitely work for us, but we're pretty flexible, especially for the afternoons and evenings.

Hi Pearlieq & Tracy,

I like DTD as an idea too, what if we did that the 7th? At like noon? I will be picked up by Magical Express on that day at POP at like 3-4 o'clock. The only reason I suggest a jump to Wednesday is that when I arrive Monday I was planning to go right to Epcot, but I am flexible either way, it will soo totally awesome to meet everyone, even if just for a short time!
I think if we can settle on a day, time, location we could then do a post on the main WISH/DIS boards and see if we can pump it up! hehe!
If we met at Epcot I thought Sunshine Seasons could be cool as we organize a WISH Soarin' ride too hehe, or at DTD what about near the Lego Store or at the Earl of Sandwich? Or Ghiradellis and we'll all be really "bad" LOL!! haha! Everything works for me!

OMG OMG OMG OMG - I think I'm so equally excited for you being able to go at Christmas season time.

How awesome on that win - that happened to me once. The first time mom took me to this boat in Iowa, and actually I think the first time I had been gambling at all now that I think about it, she told me to go to the outside machines because people always go to the inside. So I walked a bit, she was off to wherever she went, came to a machine that looked interesting (didn't know how the totals do because this was my first time), put in $10, hit the thing once (75 cents at a time), nothing, hit the thing again - spins - nothing, hit the thing again - spins - and it starts flashing and dropping coins out of the machine. I'm sitting there trying to figure out what I had done cause I didn't know how much it was racking up (it was a Double Diamond machine), looked around the machine to see if I could find my mom, start scooping up the coins into a bucket, filled one, looked around for mom some more, filled another bucket, still kept dropping coins, and finally my mom comes around and says "What did you do??", this thing is STILL dropping coins. So I filled 4 buckets and headed up to the cashier. Ended up I had won $400!!!! Came home with $100 (I figured since it wasn't my money I could spend it - dumb thing to do). But it was so much fun!!!! So I'm so happy for your win!!!!

And how fun that you are going to WDW in less than 3 months now!!!! COOL

Thanks Chris!!! Very cool story about your win too!! I have only been to the casino a few times over the 10 years it has been open but the most I had ever won before was like $10 hehe.

I am very excited for my december trip! I actually just paid the balance off on the whole thing 10min ago! (Yay for overtime pay day! hehe) I hope to pay off the April trip in two weeks too. That way all I will have left to worry about is spending money for Dec and spending money/airfare for April. Also, if come Dec I can get everyone to cross their fingers & toes for my flight not to be oversold that would be great, I would love to get my second seat refunded! hehe!

Ok, time to make dinner. I think I am going to make some burritos on low carb tortillas which I will wrap up & then grill on my George Foreman, a healthier version of Taco Bell's Grilled Burrito. For veggies I will probably roast up some mushrooms. Top it all off with a low carb Vanilla Cream yogurt with some berries. Yum!!!

Hi All,

Had a great day yesterday. Got up early to go see my sister's tennis match here at the college. Met my parents there to cheer her and the team on. They won! yay! hehe She of course demolished her competition, she is such an amazing player. I have a very tennis oriented family, so right after the match ended we went to their house to watch the US Open Men's semifinals. We then decided it was FINALLY time for lunch (at like 4:30pm LOL I was starved by then as I had not eaten anything but water all day! hehe) We went to Longhorn Steakhouse and had a great meal. I stayed on plan having a tossed salad, the blue cheese crusted filet with portabella mushroom and asparagus and then my dad & I split the apple dessert they have. It was delicious and the spilt was really 25% me & 75% him hehe.

After dinner we went to Borders and walked around for a while. I bought a book of short stories I had been waiting to see in paperback. Why I bought a book I am not sure, as I have recently bought about 4 new Disney books, plus I have WIcked on deck to be read! Oh well, I am a book person I guess! hehe

Back at their house we watched the women's final of the US Open and then my sister headed out for the night and I headed home! I was tired!! hehe I also realized this morning that I forgot to weigh in yesterday so I did it today and I am down 4lbs this week!! That puts my total at 68lbs, so I am off to update the challenges and my clippies! hehe

Pearlie & Tracy, you out there? Does the 7th at DTD work for our DIS/WISH Meet? Let me know what you guys think so we can start promoting this puppy! hehe!

Ok, plan for today is to get some laundry done and some flyers to promote an event we are doing this week. Gonna make brunch soon, I think an omeltte made with leftover roasted veggies from Friday. My car is acting up massively so I am hoping to make it to the grocery store today too, we'll see!!!

Sounds like yesterday was great! I am so proud of you! I know I've said it before, but I just can't help repeating myself!

Hope your car holds out for the grocery trip, but just remember, you can WALK the grocery!! And keep thinking of WDW!!

I'm not here as often as I'd like, but I think of you all the time and keep you in my prayers!
