Mike is the Best

Ok. I am back home and I will download my pics to photobucket (or something like that) to post here. Getting caught up at work and then I can play with yall online. :-)

We love Mike.....:goodvibes

EQ...can't wait to see your pics! Prince Phillip??? Ah! I would have just soaked myself!

Arrival Day:

We left about 6am and got onto property about 1 or 1:30 in the afternoon. We checked into Bay Lake Tower and had a Magic Kingdom View on the 7th floor. I loved the view. There were a few things that I found that I didn't like about the room though.

The bathroom sink was in the kitchen so that created some issue with too many people in the kitchen trying to make breakfast and brush teeth. The bathroom door left a "peek a boo" gap. So it was lucky I wasn't pee or poop shy.

Here was our view:

We headed to Downtown Disney in the rain to get some shopping done and pick up our Table in Wonderland card. Of course for any trip to DTD a trip to Goofy's Candy Co. is in order. mmmm....

For dinner we ate at the Wave:

And since the Magic Kingdom was open till 2am, we headed over there for a few hours.

Day 1: (Magic Kingdom Day) Part 1

We were off to the Magic Kingdom. It was so nice to be within walking distance. I wanted to try something new on this trip so I jotted down several adjectives and each day I wanted to draw three words at random and see what photos I could find in the park that day that fit the words:

The words for today were:
West (easy enough for the Magic Kingdom)
Symbol
Unfashionable

Here were my selections:

Early in the day I got the following message via text:
“His Majesty Prince Phillip kindly requests your presence behind the castle at 4:30pm”. Now I have to say knowing you lot here, I was ready to for a joke, but I went about my day and feverishly kept looking at my watch.

We had lunch at Columbia Harbor House where Brian got a free cake for wearing his birthday button.

Next a meeting with a Prince….

Day 1: Magic Kingdom Part 2

We spent time in Fronteirland and Fantasyland.
Watched the Parade and saw a prince

NOT MY PRINCE 

I tried to see if I was to be King
DSC00327.jpg

Sadly, not to be.. But that wouldn’t matter if I was meeting my Prince, I could still be royalty if we were in a state that we could be legally married.

About the time we were suppose to head over to the castle it started pouring. A certain someone kept texting me that I was to look for someone with a red hoodie and torn up jeans. I was like… um there are a hundred people huddled here under the castle due to the rain. I was sure this wasn’t going to happen till suddenly there was a person walking in the rain that fit the description.

We were taken back behind the screen that is put up when there is a castle stage show and we waited. I was all grins especially when I was told that the Cast Members asked if Sleepy Beauty was needed, and was told that she could take a nap that just the Prince was needed.

*blush*

My room-mate joked that I would finally meet my Prince and he would be struck by lightening… but then he walked out and I really started to blush.

That totally made my day. I was on Cloud Nine for the rest of the day. After that we had dinner at Kona Café at the Poly and then it was back to the resort as dinner was making a revenge on one of my room-mates. I headed up to the Top of the World Lounge to watch Wishes.

Totally AWESOME!! Prince Philip is MY prince....ever since I was a kid and saw Sleeping Beauty at the theatre...

He's the reason all the men I've dated were all Brunettes... :)

Too bad you can't find the Princes for photo opps....well, not normally anyway...lol

Oh, and you can have the Evil Queen......Maleficent is my girl.... ;)

I love it!! I can actually see you blushing in those photos. So glad you had a dream vacation!!
:cool1:

I thought you were supposed
to kneel before royalty?

EQ you should have been on your knees girl!
:rolleyes1

So happy you got to meet your prince. :)

I don't think I've ever seen a Prince of any sorts around DL come to think of it. They have an odd assortment of charaters there.....

Very nice! Glad you got to meet your prince! :goodvibes

Note to self: Never allow Ken to take photos of my butt...:rolleyes1

Well just make sure that you are stylish, or that I pick the word unfashionable again :-)

There were a few more like European men and their bad shoe choices, but I didn't post those. :-)

You dont like the neon colors? :confused3:rotfl2:

Day Two (Tuesday: Typhoon Lagoon and Epcot)

We slept in a little bit and then headed off to Typhoon Lagoon. So because of that I didn’t take my camera, so no pics from the water park.

We got back to shower and change, of course I had to work a bit (yes even on vacation, oh joy), and then it was off to Epcot.

The photowords for today were:

We had dinner at Kouzinna and honestly I wish we had gone somewhere else. This was the only place we had to wait for almost an hour to get seated (and we had an ADR). The service was lacking, as the waiter kept forgetting to bring a salad to the table. That wouldn’t be so bad if the salad hadn’t been part of an entrée. The food was even just so-so (and I love greek food, so it wasn’t that it was “different”). The saganaki was great, but otherwise I think Ms. Cora needs to revamp the restaurant.
