Mike Ditka Runaway Beach Club

My friend is there right now - she posted some pix on Facebook - it looked nice. She said she had low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. "Not Disney" but nice enough was basically what she said.

I have never heard of them either. However, it appears there is a 90 minute timeshare presentation required. Personally, if I knew they were valid and reliable, I would probably sit thru the presentation. I did look at the website. For my dates in July there is a $15/day increase. But still, $144 for 4 days/3nights is still an affordable rate. I am not confident to go for it yet. But I am going to keep it in mind and check back here to see if anyone responds. In the meantime, try http://www.bookit.com. Also try http://www.booking.com If you are looking for a short stay, sometimes those sites have some pretty good deals and they are valid and reliable. I have used both in the past. Good luck !!

I would checkout the reviews on tripadvisor.com It is listed as #62 out of 171 hotels in Kissimmee. It was given a 3.5 out of 5 and there are 395 reviews. I hope this helps.

Anyone know anything about this place? Looked like we could get 7 nights in June for $560, but the web site isn't the best & as we've never heard of this place I was hoping someone could fill us in on, well, anything :lmao:

I think I misunderstood. I have heard of the Runaway Beach Club. I have never stayed there, but the reviews on tripadvisor may give you an idea. I thought you were talking about the getawaydealz website that was offering the 4day/3night stay at the Runaway Beach Club. Anyway, I hope someone does comment on the getawaydealz. I like the price too!! :rotfl:

I was looking for that, unfortunately I couldn't get the website to function correctly. It doesn't want to scroll down & the back button isn't working just right (home or at work, so I think it's on their end). And yes, I was looking at the "special", not directly at the resort site. Maybe I'll try searching for that & see what I come up with.

Thanks all so far :)
