We just got back from Toledo and the zoo. It was only about two hours away, right up 75, so we did a round trip.
What a great zoo! The FIRST thing we did was eat in the carnivore cafe. It is so well done, one side has the inside/outside cages just as before except painted teal and with table and chairs. We of course sat in a cage, the other side has been made into the food service area, and the middle still has the high templeish ceiling with the curved supports. The three tween boys with us loved it, and so did I. It had the look of the old zoos my parents used to take me too. My friend did take pictures, and I tried to get a postcard or something with it on it but to no avail.
