Mikckey Tattoo

I am not sure where I should post this question. So please let me know if there is a better place to post this: TIA!

I am going to WDW from Aug 16-24.

And I have been contemplating getting a tattoo while I am down there.

Has anyone here gotten a tattoo while in the area? Do you have any reccommendations where I can get one?
Do any of you have a disney related tattoo?

I am strongly leaning towards getting a small tattoo of Mickey on my right ankle.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I think your tattoo sounds great! What kind of Mickey are you planning on getting?

I do not know of anyone in the area, but I would advise you to make sure you are going to someone that is recommended - hopefully someone here will know of a shop/person. You'll want to check out this persons artwork and working area also. Make sure you ask about their sterilization procedures.

My only concern would be keeping the new tat clean and you comfy - your ankle will be sore and you will have to keep cream on it for a week or so, I don't know that I would want to be walking around WDW right after getting a tattoo!

Hi..A Mickey Mouse tattoo sounds cool. My only advice though would be to wait until after you get back. As the previous post said, it will be sore while walking around WDW. By the time your vacation is coming to an end, it would be peeling on you (tattoos heal like sunburns), and too much sun and chlorine on a new tattoo fades the ink on your skin.
