Migraine sufferers

I was interested by the person who said they get exhausted before a migraine. Me too. It's almost as if I can't do anything but lay down. I thought it was just me.

I also find myself getting chocolate cravings during the migraine sometimes. At least the times where I'm not throwing up.

Grinningghost- I get bad cravings with all my migraines. So bad i would do just about anything for MCDonald's or Hershey's chocolate. My husband is pretty patient about my headaches but just does not believe my cravings. Especially when I'm begging him to go through drive through at 12:00 at night. My neice would kill for honey nut cheerios during hers.

Maxalt never heard about that one yet. I take 50mg of pamolor at night i wonder if Maxalt is better. I have done just about everything in my 20 years of headaches (I'm 31) Docters said after puberty I would be cured. I'm still waiting! Childbirth has made the pain even more intense.

SoloTraveler- I have had many people through the years smirk at my headaches and you just want to smack them. One of my college friends just called me with her first one and apologized she never understood the pain intill she had one her self.

Julianne, I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one who has food cravings during a migraine. I've actually sent my DH out to get me a Dairy Queen Brownie Explosion during a massive headache. Eating ice cream during a headache may sound like a bad idea, but when it contains ALL that chocolate, it at least gets rid of the craving part.;)
