Trying to design my river room today (Outs Western Twister River) and got as far as the following screen shot shows. Now everytime I enter I either crash right away or get "Director.." error messages when I try to do ANYTHING. I will try over the next few days to enter (when there are less people in game) and remove some of the crates to see if that clears up the problem. If not about the only thing I can do is to sell the room and hopefully everything in it will fit in my inventory.

Oh no Out that looked like such a cool ride too!

Hope you get it fixed.....Good Luck

Yes Out, you had the patience of a saint today building that river ride. To lose it all would be a real tragedy :(

Good luck trying in the morning :)

This happened to me when I was designing one of the rooms for my space mountain ride. How I fixed it was to go in and take out as many items as I can before I crash. Eventually you will remove enough and the room will work.
Hope this helps and good luck!

I have a room that makes me crash as soon as anyone enters it. The funny thing is there isn't a lot of stuff in it, it's just a regualr room. I wrote to the black hole.

The obvious solution for me is to sell the room and everything will be returned but it's a tent room and I don't want to sell it since they are pretty rare.

Don't you have remove everything from the room before you can sell it?? I thought that's what it said to me when I was selling some of my rooms. But i don't know :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

btw, why aren't my eggs hatched? lol

Out, that is exactly what happened to me when i was building my dis temple pin trading room for the contest a while back. I finally got in and removed about 50 crates ( i had about 300 in there lol) and 2 of the 4 fountains i had in there and then everything seemed to work fine after that. (but it still takes a little longer to load than most rooms) ;)

Just an update.

I did finally get in and removed some of the crates. Room seems to be more stable now. I will have to take the ride down to the ground, as it is just too hard to visualize as it is. When I rebuild it I'll try knocking off one level of crates from each circle and see how that works.

From each circle? That should be an interesting room.:) You have me intrigued.

I don't know why the picture stopped showing on the first post, but I have just put it back in.

Anything in a room that you sell should be automatically returned to your character's inventory. At least that is what they say! ;)

Talk about a cool ride! I can't wait to try it out, Out! :) Glad to here you finally got in.

Good to know! :teeth: :)

That looks really cool. Great job.

Just wanted to let everybody know that the ride portion of the room was completed tonight and might have actually come out better than the original plans. I will post a screen shot after VMK opens tomorrow. For the rest of this week I will be furnishing the seating areas and will post a picture when that is complete. Then on Friday evening starting at about 6pm ET I will have the grand opening of the room.

Way to go Out :cool1: It really pays off when your persistant

Can't wait to watch you build the next one!

Just stumbled upon this, and thought suggesting the following would be helpful

If after having finished it you ever want to make it taller, as in the first pic, you might want to replace some crates with Haunted Mansion tables. They are stackable and they take up the space that 4 stacked up crates would take. Worth it, 4 crates = 200 credits, 1 purple table = 150. Big deal. Now how do you think the mountain I made doesn't take up all the memory Out?

Here is the screen shot of the room with no furniture. Both coffin teleporters go to the center of the circle, which is the only entry point on the ride.
