I should have known when I picked a 1 bedroom to save points it was the wrong thing to do. I passed on the 2 bedroom standard because I LOVE the Boardwalk view. Now we may have daughter's boyfriend along and of course there is not availability at the Boardwalk or Beach Club for 7 nights in a studio or 2 bedroom the 1st week in March. I am going to waitlist a standard 2 bedroom at the Boardwalk but have doubts that will come through.

I am thrilled he may come so hoping to get some opinions. Party of 5 - 3 adults 20+, 2 adults 50+.

So my choices at the moment would be 2 bedroom at any of the folllowing. We would have to buy a few points or in some cases alot of points. It may not even happen but if it does I want to be ready to book whatever may be available. Thanks for any advice!

AKV
SSR
SSR Treehouse (3 bedroom)
OKW
OKW Grand Villa (maybe for 4 or 5 nights and then a couple of studios somewhere else)

Man! I think those tree houses look awesome! We always go by them on the boat to DTD. The only complaint I have heard about those is someone with kids said they were out there alone and getting to a pool, arcade, etc wasn't too easy. If we ever win the powerball or mega millions lottery :lmao:, our plan is to say in a tree house for a year! pixiedust:

You need a 2BR with three full bathrooms with that group. AKV (Kidani) or BLT. I am partial to AKV. It is WDW's 5th theme park. Great resort theming, great pool area, great bus service, and great on-site restaurant (Sanaa). Caveat: if having a QS restaurant within close distance is paramount, then you will need to go with Jambo and a 2BR with only 2 bath (and less square footage).

My first choice would depend but with a car it'd be OKW, without either AKV or SSR dedicated. I don't feel the 3rd BA adds that much where the master BA has a split design, at least not enough to control the other choices.

My teens have been dying to try the Treehouse Villas. And OKW (2BR) is a good choice because of size. Both are good choices if you'll have a car as well. AKV would be good for saving points if you can get standard view and it offers the extra bathroom (which I understand how important that is, having 3 teens myself and that's why we chose Kidani over Jambo for our upcoming trip :)). We wouldn't do SSR (2BR) because we are not fans of SSR, but SIL does it alomst every trip and stays in Congress park section so her older teens/college kids can walk to/from Downtown Disney...so that might be a draw for your 20-somethings. Gosh, I am no help really. I guess I'd go with THV-SSR or 2BR-OKW.

I'd pick AKV, Jambo savannah view if it was my choice but Kidani has an extra bathroom which might be appealing to some. However, I know that if DH was along, it would have to be OKW, those large rooms trump anything else to him.

We leave in a week and will be a group similar to yours-2 50+ parents, our 2 20s sons and oldest son's 20s gf. It was a last minute trip so limited in choice but I think it worked out great. Split stay, starting at OKW 2 bd and ending at Kidani in a 2 bd. I think we will appreciate the space at OKW as well as proximity to DTD and excited for savanna view at Kidani as the "kids" have never been. I plan to give the gf the 3rd bathroom alone which I think will make her more comfortable.

At first I wanted BWV, but now I am excited for this. We stay at BWV frequently. Kids have never been to AKV and we haven't stayed at OKW since they were in elementary school. New and old memories! Hope your trip is great!

Sounds like OP really likes the bf of dd. For impressive, the treehouse option would be cool. If not, stay at any of those other options and smack him upside the head if he doesn't appreciate it.;)

AKV Kidani without a doubt. Three full bathrooms and wonderful view of the savannah. The Treehouse doesn't have a king size bed in the master, so that one is out for me.
