Can you pick your seats when you buy your tickets from Midwest?
When would be the best time to buy my tickets? (I'm hoping to go in Oct - during Wis. school break). The prices are lower now than they were last year in June, so I'm thinking I should buy before June. Any ideas??? (Flying from Milwaukee)

I fly Midwest a lot and I think I've picked my seats during the checkout process. I'm also going in October and I think the *cheap seats* to MCO are all gone - at least they were when I checked a few weeks ago but I also had the Omaha - Milwaukee leg to book. They tend to run sales every 2-3 months but often with those sales the travel must be completed within 4-5 months. I'm always watching for their Sunday ads because my mom flies in to visit from the East Coast and we go there to visit too. You can sign up on their web site to get emails for the fare sales. They don't send too many so it's not bad. My guess is for travel in October you wouldn't see a fare sale with travel dates that far out until the summer. But I could be wrong. Just keep and eye on their web site and sign up for their emails. Good luck! If you get a good rate on Midwest it truly is the best care in the air!

We are going in October also (24-31) and I bought our tickets on Midwest a couple of months ago. I think the price is still the same, $178 and I picked our seats at the time that I booked. The flight going to Orlando had quite a few seats booked already but the return flight was wide open. I wouldn't wait too long.

Did you get good times for $178 and non-stops? I can't seem to find the times that I want that are non-stop for the dates I want Oct 25-Oct 30 or Oct 26-Oct 31. Thanks

Yes, our flight is nonstop. We are leaving around 7:30 (can't remember exact time) and our return flight is for 1:50, I believe. I just checked their website and our flight is not listed anymore, so I'm assuming that it is full. Now I'm glad that I bought early, don't really care for the other times. Good luck!

WE booked back in December for our October trip with Midwest, non-stop leaving 10/21 at 7:30am, returning 10/28 at 9:30pmish. We got them for $178.00, I booked them right away when I saw the price and times I wanted. I always book as soon as I am comfortable with the prices (under $200) because times and non-stop are very important to us. That is a popular week because of school break. I know three kids in my DD's class went to WDW last year during that week.

We picked our seats at the time of booking. They originally assign you seats, but you can go in and change them.

Someone on the boards also told me that Midwest has sales starting on Tuesdays. So I would always make sure to check then. Good Luck!

I can find some times I like for $214 with a code I found on this board. I'm thinking I should just grab them, I bet they don't go any lower for these good times. What do you think? Thanks

I would buy them soon! We are going from 10/20-30, from Milwaukee. We wanted the signature flight's with 2 X 2 Leather seating. I could have had them for $178, but then watched them rise! I got them for around $214, a few weeks later my mom decided to join us, and they were up about $20 more. This was about a month ago. Now they are over $300! As seats get sold the prices go up! Yes you can choose your seat, after you buy the tickets, you can click a button that says change seat assignment. Also if you go to travelocity and look up the flights you can see what seats are available.
