Midway

I have a question hopefully someone can answer. It has been over a year since I have flown out of there and I am sure some procedures have changed. Today I took my GF to the local airport ( PIA ) and they have you get your ticket then when you check your bag you go to a different line and they browse thru the bag and then lock it right there. Do they do this in Midway? Not that I am going to try anything funny I just want to make sure I leave enough time because if you get enough people up there I am sure it could make for some nasty delays.

We fly ATA out of Midway all the time. There is a second line for the checked baggage to go through the scanner. You don't have to wait while they put it through, but you can if you want.

ok so pretty much things havent changed. I know before when you went to the counter they weighed it and then tagged it and threw it on the track to the back.... It was just odd to see how PIA did their luggage and it made me wonder if I was going to run into that coming up....
