Has anyone ate at the Midway Market all you can eat buffet at Cedar Point? I had read a post that said it was $10 for the buffet. I thought this was a great deal, but after going to the updated Cedar Point page, the cost has risen. It is now $16 for adults and $13 for children. The reviews on the CP page are mixed. The price included a drink and dessert. Has anyone ate there? Does anyone have recommendations for other CP restaurants? We are going to eat breakfast before going to the park and then eat a snack mid-day. We thought the all you can eat buffet sounded like a good idea, but I am having doubts now. If anyone has been there, I would appreciate your opinion.

Last time we were there we ate at the Japanese steakhouse in The Breakers hotel. It was probably not the best budget choice but it ended up being my children's favorite Japanese steak house experience ever. The cooks were tossing chicken and shrimp in their mouths and at other tables they were squirting saki in the adults mouth with the squirt bottles- they were pretty toasted by the end of the meal. All I can say is good times were had by all. This was during one of the Halloweekends at the end of the season so I don't know if they were cutting up because the season was ending or if it is an every meal occurence. I do know the kids will want to return.

I hope someone replies to this we are going to CP on Tuesday and Wednesday! We are also staying at the Breakers. I was wondering where the best places were to eat in the hotel or at the park?

We have eaten there but the price was $12; it must have been between the first post you read and the current day prices.

When we ate there, we found it tasty, filling and definitely worth it.

Hopefully someone will reply who has eaten there recently.

Have never done the buffet. We usually opt for fries at boardwalk fries next to coasters. Panda express, chick filet. There is Johnny Rockets that is fun. i think there is sit down pizza next to kids kingdom. the elephant ears are good near Maverick. I think there is Famous Daves at the Marina and I can't remember if TGI fridays is still at the Breakers. The Japanese steakhouse is off the lobby in the Breakers. There is a breakfast buffet next to Sandcastle Suites(we like staying here if not camping in camper) BTW Lighthous point cabins are nice and you can grill off your little deck overlooking the lake. if you go to Soak City there is an adult pool in the back with swim up bar. All in all, the counter srevice food is pretty much the same all over the park and pricey as is the food in the chain quick serve places. If they still have the nightime starlight thing along the back trail thru the park get the little glasses you can buy for a dollar. The lights look cool and you can save them and halul them out at Christmas to look at the tree. Sorry so long.
