What can you tell me about the show? My son (15) has wanted to go for years, but it seems so expensive for just a dinner. Is it enough fun to justify the cost? I'm assuming the food isn't worth $50, but a good show might make it worth the price.

I like Medieval Times and my guess is your son will like it, too. He's about the right age to really get into ther whole deuling knights thing. He'll probbaly like the fact that you have to eat dinner without utensils, too.

My only word of caution is that the volume is LOUD. If you don't like super loud music, you might ant to bring some earplugs.

We went in April during our first Orlando Holiday and we all enjoyed it.:sunny:

DS 10 was the one who really wanted to go and he had a great evening. The fighting is just about real enough and the plot is probably a step above some other Dinner Shows. The horses are lovely and the general atmosphere is fun!

The food was fine - certainly not gourmet but nobody should leave there feeling hungry. You get soup and garlic bread followed by half a chicken, a small rib and half a baked potato, then an apple pastry with some coffee.:goodvibes

DH winced a bit when he paid for the tickets but we were there to have fun and we all did!

My family went May 8 for Mother's Day. We all loved it!! You are right about not paying for the food, but for the show. But the show is great, and I think worth the money. Be careful, because you have to show up 1 hour before dinner, and that is so they can get you to spend more money on souvenirs. They have a great gift shop, especially if you are really into knights and stuff.

My sons have been twice. The first time they were 2 and 8. The second time they were 4 and 10. They loved it both times. I think you can get coupons or AAA. The meal is not bad at all. Not $50.00 worth but the show more then makes up for it.
