do you have any problems in middle school now ! [ i dont care about last year ]
i want to see whats going on bc kids in my school just got taken by the fuzz lol really though

I'm not in middle school.

I didn't mind it though. it wasn't that bad.

I'm in eigth grade.
I hate it.
It's school.
I have to put up with 8 other grades beneath me.
You're so close to being in a better place.
But you're not.
People say 'Oh well you're in middle school, so you don't understand'
Like middle school is an insult.

I'm a freshman now.

But I loved my 8th grade year.

I'm in 8th grade.
I can't stand all the work. (No duh.)
I can't stand my band director's hissy fits over how ill prepared we are for tomorrow's concert. (When I'm first chair and no one else really gives a poop about band.)

I'm so thankful I have friends in every class.
And I've gotten a tad bit more noticed. and Acknowledged.

I'm in the middle.

well i am in 8th grade and cant wait to get into the high school next year....

I'm in highschool, but then again there is no middle school where I live. I'm in the 9th grade, and 8th grade wasn't bad. I have my friends with me, so we can all hate schoolwork together :)

Completely agreed.
I can't wait `til high school.. well, except for the massive amounts of work.

wow i never felt so .. so alone in the world ! lol i am like the only one that is 12 turnig 13 lol

LoL, you are far from alone! There are plenty of people your age. I'm turning 15 in a couple months and I sure wish I was 12 again. Life gets so serious once you get into highschool and I just want to have fun once in a while :upsidedow

I'm a freshman in high school now. I guess I like high school, but I will say, I feel your pain when it comes to hating middle school. 7th and 8th grade were a nightmare for me, for many different reasons. So you're certainly not alone :)

Now i'm in highschool and i wouldnt say thats entirely true......i'm in all honors, and in drama/thespians, and i always LOVE to have fun, i dont fin it to serious at all.

Being a sophmore i love highschool. Jr. High was a nightmare....so much drama! 3 elementry schools fed into my jr high which fed into 2 different highschools. So i dont even talk to anyone from Jr. high which is fine b/c i love my friends from HS.
Highschool is wonderful!!! lol

I am in 8th and i like it but i also go to a small (Christian) school where everything is great for the most part but there is still drama and all that crap but i like it for the most part.
The only other thing i have a problem with is seventh grade girls that think they are all that and just walk up to me in the middle of my conversations and they follow me EVERYWHERE and we have a couple of annoying people in our grade and it just gets on my nerves that people think they can do whatever they want but i love school.....yeah i said it :goodvibes no iam not a suck up ;)

There is not a serious thing that goes on in my highschool.

Well I'm in honors too, in fact that's why I don't have fun alot of the time. I have piles of homework to do every night, and on top of that I have a part-time job, volunteer work, and extra-curricular stuff. I take my work very seriously, even P.E. I consider a neccesary subject, and I strive to do my best in all of my classes.

I have my volunteer hours up until graduation already, so you can imagine how much I have to do every week  . But hey, it's my decision to care so much about school; I hate it and yet I get on the 4.0, LoL.

I think that what I meant to say, was if you really think about how close post-secondary education is, you'll want to get down to business and think about what you want to do with your life- and real fast too.

For me, the summer after Elementary school I grew up alot, and I started to realize that everything couldn't be fun all the time. Maybe for you, it didn't get serious, but for everyone its different :) . Let's just say it gets serious really fast when you start having to do provincials (which I don't think you have to do, because you live in the U.S.), and you get a job; getting a job, you realize how hard your parents have to work to support your family.

My advice to everyone in middle school or younger, would be to enjoy being a kid/pre-teen and not worry about ''getting serious'' right at the moment. Enjoy life, but don't get carried away, because for some of you, it could get very serious when the reality of things starts to kick in. I'm still having fun of course, I just meant that my education comes first to me. :goodvibes

Okay, so I'm in high school, right? Ok. And so I'm a senior, I think. At least that is what I am told. Sometimes I wonder about that though because the kids in my class act like they belong in the 2nd grade, no lie. They really do. If you want me to explain, I will. Last year, during lunch, my friend and I were juniors and were sitting at a table eating and getting all fat and everything. Okay, so there we are minding our own business and from the depths of the skys there falls something that looks to us like the saving grace. This saving grace nails my friend square in the forehead. Once I am done cracking up like a kid at Christmas, I realize it's a grape. Before I know it, the entire lunch room population is engaging in a food fight. Very civil...very serious because we all know high school is very serious.

In fact, this is how serious they were. Each food was thrown at an approximated trajectory. Each student had before hand calculated the projectiles of each thrown food item and thus allowed them to aim with accuracy.

If that was even half true...I think I would die...of laughter lol. Truth is, you can be piled with work and you can come home each night complaing and what not, but heck...it would taste a complete lie to say high school is more serious...perhaps seriously crazy insane, but not serious...unless you go to a boring school. lol. I know, as a senior, that there have been crazy years of work load...but that NEVER made high school more serious...just that much more insane! :rotfl:

Middle school sucked for me. I'm not going to sit here and say..."Middle school isn't that bad, you'll get used to it" and a lot of fake words that make me more phony than half the girls at my school who think they actual have the mind to think those tight skirts look descent on them. lol. Middle school was hell for me. It really was. I had the worse teacher in history. She was my science teacher and made all the kids cry. She made me cry. Anyway, just about every kid was going through that whole adolesense stage which made them do insane things...things I cannot say on a family board lol. Anyhow...once high school rolled around, they wisened up and learned how to do things a bit more appropriately (HAHA as if). And they learned the art of rights and responsibilities. They learned that if you are going to smoke or do drugs on private property, you will get arrested. They learned also, the following:

Police officers do not appreciate being called, "Hey yo! Wazzup! Where are da rest of you cops?"

The school does not think the toilet paper is a pretty decoration and they WILL make other people clean up after your mess. More specifically, the health teacher WILL make her A-Block students pick up the mess.

Our local pond in the middle of the woods is not a good place to start an out-of-control fire.

You see, kids in my class and in my school are learning the essentials of life. The things they couldn't learn in middle school. I hated middle school with a passion and miss NOTHING about it. I love high school. I think. And I think I might actually miss it when I graduate (Psh!) Nah, I will. lol. Just hang in there...things get better from there. ;)

I loveee school, not for the learning part, for the social part
:bitelip:
