Middle school and trips ?

Ok so my DD will be in middle school for our 5th trip --- 2006 ( i have to skip a year to do some work on my house ) I am wondering if it makes sense to go on a school vacation - thinking April - for just one week or maybe i should just hold off and travel for TWO weeks during the summer -- right after they get out of school Mid June ? I think I want June for 2 weeks but a little advise would be helpful.. Thanks ( oh we have been in June before right when school got out and It was HOT but it was bearable with breaks in the afternoon -- never been in April )

I've always heard it is VERY CROWDED in April with spring break. I think I'd pick June.

I'd pick June. Only because to us 2 weeks at disney is better than one.

Whatever you do, don't go Easter Week. It's the second crowdest week of the year after Christmas Week. If you have an April spring break that's not around Easter, that will work. I have no clue when Easter is that year. If you don't mind the June weather and prices, two weeks is better than one!

Thanks -- I think 2 weeks in June will end up winning I just wanted to be sure that is what most people thought too..

and with 2 weeks we can take the parks UN comando style !!
